Moondance
Jam Recycling
Moondance
Jam has had a recycling program since 2000. Jammers can recycle in the
campgrounds and in the concert area.
Let's pick it up again in this year!
RecyclE in the Campgrounds
1. Use the specially marked clear plastic recycling bags that are provided.
Budweiser sent 10,000 recycling bags for Moondance Jam! Bags will be handed out at the gates for campers and replaced during "curbside pickup".
2. Place all aluminum cans, glass and plastic beverage containers in these bags. ABSOLUTELY NO TRASH.
NO FOOD CANS. NO FOOD ITEMS.
3. "Curbside Pickup": Just leave your full bag of recyclables at your campsite near the garbage bag, and our staff will pick it up and give you a new bag.
RecyclE in the Concert Area
During
Moondance Jam, you will see bright green plastic recycling
bins located at the gates to the concert area and in
selected locations on the grounds.
Please
deposit the following containers in these bins!
- Aluminum
Cans
- Plastic Bottles
- Glass
Bottles (not allowed at the Jam)
Plastic
bottles with a neck that have #1 or #2 symbols on the
bottom. This includes just about all plastic bottles consumed
at Moondance, such as water, pop, juice, and milk bottles.
Glass bottles are not allowed on the Moondance grounds, however, if you see them please recycle them.
Collection & SortinG
These
containers will all be collected together and The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wrestling Club will hand sort aluminum, glass and plastic for delivery to the Cass County recycling center. PLEASE DO NOT PUT GARBAGE OF ANY KIND IN THE RECYCLING BAGS OR CONTAINERS.
